The Keylink package, consisting of software and hardware, connects the Cadmus EFTPOS terminal and a printer to a (POS) Point of Sale device or ECR (electronic cash register).
Keylink relays a simple set of messages in one-way communication between the POS and the terminal, automatically delivering the value of the transaction, e.g. PURCHASE $20.00. Keylink removes the need to re-key figures at the terminal and helps prevent errors that occur if the merchant inputs the wrong amount. e.g. PURCHASE of $2.00 instead of $20.00. Print data is printed on the Cadmus printer once the transaction is completed.
